Re: ldap cant connect
Hi,
try doing ps ax|grep slapd and if you find slapd
process,then there may be some other problem.If slapd
is not running, then login as root using su - root and
then check if the file /etc/openldap/slpad.conf
exists.If yes simply run slapd and continue ldapadd,
else first check for slapd.conf and run slapd with -f
option followed by the path for slapd.conf.
Now try running ldapadd.
