how to implement multiple suffixes

Hello,

While building our directory I was looking at other sites' structure for
inspiration: ldap.nameflow.net has a list of top level suffixes:
dc=org, dc=net, etc.. c=uk, c=GB etc... and the information is neatly
categorized under each suffix's own tree structure (it probably reflects
their customers' domains or organizations).

How should I go about replicating that kind of structure? 

Should I simply put several "suffix" lines in my slapd.conf?

Does it mean that for each "suffix" statement there is a separate
database?
