Re: No such Object
Make sure that your slapd is using the slapd.conf file you think it is:
su root -c /usr/local/libexec/slapd -f myslapd.conf
is not the same as:
su root -c '/usr/local/libexec/slapd -f myslapd.conf'
If in doubt, use the latter syntax or su - to root and then start slapd.
This problem caused me a lot of grief when I was starting out...
