ldapsearch problem on HP-UX 11.0 with db2
i built OpenLdap with db2 on HP-UX 11.0; the search test didn't pass, so i
tried this by hand:
i populated the db with ldif2ldbm; started slapd with this config file:
----------------------
include /srcatch/OpenLdapHP/etc/openldap/slapd.at.conf
include /srcatch/OpenLdapHP/etc/openldap/slapd.oc.conf
schemacheck off
#######################################################################
# ldbm database definitions
#######################################################################
database ldbm
directory /tmp/test_db
suffix ""
rootdn "cn=root"
rootpw secret
index cn,sn,uid pres,eq,approx
index default none
lastmod on
----------------------
i then did:
ldapsearch -D "cn=root" -w secret -p 10389 -L -v -b " " "objectclass=*"
and get
ldap_init( , 10389 )
filter pattern: objectclass=*
returning: ALL
filter is: (objectclass=*)
0 matches
slapd dbg trace shows:
=> id2entry_r( 1 )
=> ldbm_cache_open( "/tmp/test_db/id2entry.dbb", 7, 600 )
<= ldbm_cache_open NULL "/tmp/test_db/id2entry.dbb" errno 9 reason "Bad file
number")
Could not open id2entry.dbb
candidate 1 not found
that's odd!
ls -l shows:
-rwxrwxrwx 1 ml code 5120 Feb 28 23:52
/tmp/test_db/id2entry.dbb
also 'strings /tmp/test_db/id2entry.dbb' shows that this file is not empty.
What did i do wrong?
Thanks,
-ML
