After I followed the guide (http://www.umich.edu/~dirsvcs/ldap/doc/guides/slapd/2.html), I ran this command: # ldapsearch -h 127.0.0.1 'objectclass=*' but, that gave an error message: ldap_search: DSA is unwilling to perform what does that mean? What should I do? It's the best thing out there for SLAPD. It was written for the U-M 3.3 server but it's pretty much 99% the same thing as OpenLDAP. You can find a link to it in the OpenLDAP FAQamatic pages.... ----- Original Message ----- From: Edi Cahyadi <ECahyadi@site.kiani.com> To: 'LDAP-software' <openldap-software@OpenLDAP.org> Sent: Monday, July 12, 1999 10:26 PM Subject: newbie Q: what to start? > Hello list, > > I just managed to install OpenLDAP into my machine running HP-UX 10.10. > I just want to a database of employees with their phone numbers, email > addresses, etc. so that people can search/query using Netscape's Address > Book. > What do I have to start?
