Replicating Lotus Domino Ldap to OpenLdap?

Has anyone any experience of replicating a Lotus Notes Domino Ldap
server to openldap?

I have no control over the Notes side.

I tried (from the Lotus notes side):
   ldapsearch -h noteshost "objectClass=*" > file.ldif

Unfortunately, this gives me no records back.

However, if I do:
   ldapsearch -h noteshost "sn=a*"

I get all the surnames beginning with "a".  However, I can't insert the
records into openLdap because I didn't get the parent definitions (OU, O
etc) to which they belong.

Any ideas what is the best way to do this?
