RE: Display of data
John,
What about using the Exyst site for your contact information display. Exyst
will gladly host your test accounts for free in support of the Rolodap
project. I especially like the work you're doing on schema design. It
would be relatively easy to setup and you get a professionally designed web
page with "pizzazz". See http://shawn_ellis.exyst.net for an example page.
In addition to displaying contact information, it also gives br'users
(browsing users) the ability to download the contact info in a vCard format,
to link to a business web page, to send e-mail, to print a pre-addressed
envelope, to retrieve maps and driving directions, to see the local weather,
and to get local Yellow Pages info, and to setup aliases, with more
functions forthcoming.
If the owner of the contact info chooses, they can setup collaboration file
space (WebDAV) and organize their content into a hierarchy of folders
accessible to the br'user. They can also have the page customized with
their own business card format, add a photo and attach customized web data
collection forms.
This would make a great interface for your LDAP database. Let me know if
you're interested.
Happy Holidays!

Subject: Display of data
I am looking for a good single page display of employee/contacts detail
data. Something with more pizzazz than a simple columnar listing of the LDAP
entry.
Anybody know any exceptionally good ones I can use for inspiration?
