Search for things other than names in Outlook 98

Has anyone used Outlook 98 to search by anything other than a person's name?
I would like to create entries like "frontdesk" that would pull up everyone
working at our frontdesk.

Do I need to alter Outlook 98's search criteria (by manually editing the
registry), or can I solve this problem directly with OpenLDAP?
