Depends on topic and depth, I guess.  For example, DEN (Directory Enabled
Networking) is slated for discussion at NOMS2000:

There was some LDAP stuff at Connectathon last year:

Obviously the IETF is an obvious candidate, given the LDAP working groups:

  http://www.ietf.org/meetings/IETF-47.html

Assuming, of course, the LDAP/LDUP and related working groups actually meet at
any given IETF meeting.  I'd say any networking or network management
conference (be it major, or local/minor) could/should/will include LDAP and/or
other directory-related issues.
