That patch isn't required; I didn't add the AC_PRESERVE_HELP_ORDER macro to our configure.in file. Plain autoconf 2.59 will work, even if the configure --help output is distorted. If anyone feels strongly about preserving the display order, then I'd be fine with committing the AC_PRESERVE_HELP_ORDER invocation and requiring the patch.How do I build configure in HEAD now? autoconf-2.59 + this patch?
