I disagree. I remember that some people already asked for this on 
openldap-users. They'd like to query those values for administration 
purposes. E.g. scan all your OpenLDAP server replicas for determining which 
ones need to be upgraded.

Ok, ldap:///cn=monitor?description might also be of help for this task. But 
it does not seem to be well-structured.
