Problem with directoryString attribute type

Hi there,

I've got an attribute of type directoryString (1.3.6.1.4.1.1466.115.121.1.15).
Some of my data contains ASCII character #233 ('é'). Everything worked fine
until I switched to 2.0.7 slapd version... Now if I try to upload data with #233
inside, I've got an API error : INVALID SYNTAX.


I can get stick to the 2.0.6 version - it's not a problem for me not to update.
But I'd like to know why is the UTF-8 strings support different in the 2.0.7
version... I found nothing of interest in the issue tracking form nor in the
CHANGES.TXT file.


Using 2.0.7 on FreeBSD 4.x.



Any clues ?...
