Converting Netscape conf files to OpenLDAP (or Umich)

Greetings,
  I've recently undertaken the task of converting our netscape config files
for the Netscape LDAP server over to a linux box running 3.3 of Umich ldap
server.  This is an incredible task.  Has anyone done this before or is
there documentation on this?  I'm running into several proprietary fields
that Netscape used that I can't find the equivalents to in openLDAP or
umichLDAP.
