Hi Mark,

I would note that no patch for this issue has ever been submitted to the 
tracker, nor is there any IPR, etc.  I did track down your suggested fix 
via the mailing list thread.  However, that is not sufficient for it to be 
included in the OpenLDAP project.

correct procedure for submitting your fix if you would like it to be 
included.
