Re: (ITS#4669) Strange `ldapsearch' behaviour

Sounds much like ITS#4651 <http://www.openldap.org/its/?findid=4651>; 
the max length of a line is hardcoded to 128; if the last URI resulting 
from truncation is invalid, parsing of the URI list fails, and no 
default URI list is set.  I've replaced 128 with LINE_MAX, which sounds 
more appropriate.  Please try and report.
