Re: (ITS#4585) slapd-search generates TIME_WAIT connections increasingly
This is an OpenPGP/MIME signed message (RFC 2440 and 3156)

Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1
Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
The problem with the TIME_WAITs can be reproduced on Debian
3.1 as well, so it is not OS-specific. I have to admit, that I can not
reproduce it with OpenLDAP 2.4.2alpha neither on Solaris nor Debian,
"only" with 2.3.2x. However, my original CLOSE_WAIT problem can be
reproduced with 2.4.2alpha as well, so it might be a different problem.
I will try to rip the appropriate part from our application to be able
to post the source code to reproduce the CLOSE_WAIT problem.
Thanks to everyone for the answers so far.
Roland
