Indeed, this has little to do with -devel, since you're __using__ OpenLDAP
software rather than __developing__ it, despite you're working with code
that's under development. Code under development may suffer from
problems, so you shouldn't assume that you can always check it out,
configure and run it out of the box without problems.
Moreover, your help in spotting problems is best appreciated if you use
the appropriate means, e.g. the ITS, and you provide relevant information.
When one hits a SIGSEGV, usually the most relevant info that can be
provided is a stack backtrace, to clearly spot where the problem occurred.
