There's only one thing that tells slapd to shut down, and that is a cronjob
that runs at around 6:30 a.m. in the morning. That job ran just fine:

slapd starting
There is nothing else that runs on the system that does any sort of
restarts, which means it was something in slapd that decided to shut down.
