Hi,

we are using OpenLDAP 2.1.22 with a Berkeley-DB 4.1.25(Patch-1) backend. Once a
week the system (Linux 2.4.22 based on Suse 7.3, 128 MB-RAM, enough swap and
filespace) freezes. Processes on that machine (init, inetd, ...) report that
they can not fork. Before upgrading the machine from OpenLDAP 2.0 to 2.1 no
problems occurred. We estimate that there are about 150.000 LDAP requests before
we have to reboot the machine ;-)

Any hint to solve our problem is welcome,
