I don't recall this change, but RFC 2256 clearly specifies
the postalAddress attribute type as:

   ( 2.5.4.16 NAME 'postalAddress' EQUALITY caseIgnoreListMatch
     SUBSTR caseIgnoreListSubstringsMatch
     SYNTAX 1.3.6.1.4.1.1466.115.121.1.41 )   

Your request cannot be honored without violating the published
specification and, hence, is rejected.
