GetLongPathName ... slapd execution error (ITS#2138)

Using the following components I have successfully "built" slapd:
cyrus-sasl-1.5.28
db-4.1.24
openldap-2.1.5 

Upon executing the slapd.exe Release and Debug versions on a Windows NT 4.0 sp6
platform I get the following error:

"The procedure entry point GetLongPathNameA could not be located in the dynamic
link library KERNEL32.DLL"

Upon searching the entire project the only references I found to GetLongPathName
were in the db-4.1.24: os_rename.c code -- which appears to have been
extensively modified since db-3.3.11.

Anyone have a suggested patch ??
