If it truely aborted, you should have some clear indication
somewhere that it did in fact abort.  In order to diagnose
the problem, the exact place where slapd aborted must be
known.  This is generally obtained by getting a stack
back trace from a core file generated at the time of the
abort.  Without this, little can be done.

It is also noted that you are using a dated release and,
hence, may already be fixed.  Please try to duplicate the
problem using 2.0.21.
