missing casts cause mucho compiler warnings (ITS#827)

libraries/liblutil/passwd.c has a bunch of missing casts that generate a pile
of compiler warnings from the HP ANSI C compiler.  A patch to fix this can be
found in:
incoming/earickson-001011.libraries_liblutil_passwd.patch
