Some queries on LDAP.... (ITS#550)

Hello there
We, as an Integrated telecom billing solution provider, would like to use
the LDAP protocol to cater the AAA functionality from the Billing solution.
We would like to have your comments on the following
1) Does LDAP provide the API by which services can be provisioned for
the new subscriber on the Network Elements(NE). Where NE could be Radius
server or Web server or Gate keeper etc.
2) Does LDAP can cater the AAA (Authorize, Authenticate and accounting
) functionality.
3) If LDAP is integrated in the Billing solution what level of
Integration is possible.
We would like to hear from you and would like to start a dialogue on the
same. Please revert back asap.
