Netscape messenger and his address book

I'm sure it's not an openLDAP bug. But if you could say me if there is a
solution, I would be very happy :

Sometimes (and it's very random..) when I use the address book of
Messenger in Netscape (for completion for instance) It makes me a 
"Failed to search 'mon carnet' due to LDAP error 'Unknown error'
(0xFFFFFFFFF)"
error !!

It seems to react more or less if we tune cache size of slapd...
