Full_Name: Marcello Formica Version: 2.0.3 OS: Windows 2000 URL: ftp://ftp.openldap.org/incoming/ Submission from: (NULL) (194.201.204.34) I'm using slapd 2.0.3 on a Windows 2000 SP1 system. The package was compiled with visual studio 6 SP4 and Berkeley DB 2.7.7. If I install slapd as a service ("slapd install") it works properly; anyway, every time the service is stopped, it crashes with this message: "The instruction at "0x00425df9" referenced memory at "0x00000018". The memory could not be "read". The referenced address is always 0x18 and the crash is always reproducible. Anyway, if slapd is launched by command line (that is, as a normal application instead of a service), it runs and stops with CTRL-C without any problem.
