(Answer) (Category) OpenLDAP Faq-O-Matic : (Category) OpenLDAP Software FAQ : (Category) Installation : (Answer) How do I disable use of threads?
Use: --without-threads
It is recommended to disable threads when using the shell backend, enabled by --enable-shell
Threads are required by slurpd, the old-style replication daemon. They are also essential for the proper functioning of many components of slapd, the DSA agent, so they should not be disabled unless strictly required.
