NetDirector offers a free plug-in to their NetDirector Configuration Management Framework to manage OpenLDAP (http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=162964)
for our open source NetDirector Configuration Management Tool. It allows you to manage multiple LDAP servers from one console, set-up replication across LDAP servers. With this module you can dynamically browse schemas including importing and applying. Plus it lets you create entries, move them around, browse and most of what you would expect for administrering LDAP.
NetDirector is an open and extensible framework for managing configurations of common open source network services. It offers both form driven and fine-grained control of server configuration files with many added benefits including rollback and policy-based access. It can manage both Linux and most any flavor of Unix. However, the preferred platform to host NetDirector Server Manager on is Linux.
You can use NetDirector's efficient GUI to make config. changes to one server, a group of servers or all your servers at the same time. Apply changes immediately or schedule them for later, and with NetDirector you can rollback any change to any previous config. state. NetDirector also gives you tight role-based permissions so that you know who's making changes to which servers and services.
