Hi,
I just upgraded ldap from 2.2 to 2.3.
when i put
txn_checkpoint 128 15 0
in DB_CONFIG i get the following error when i try to start slapd
[root@HOSTMASTER002 openldap-data]# /usr/local/libexec/slapd -d 256
@(#) $OpenLDAP: slapd 2.3.20 (May 8 2006 18:53:35) $
root@HOSTMASTER002:/apps/ldapnew/openldap-2.3.20/servers/slapd
daemon: IPv6 socket() failed errno=97 (Address family not supported by protocol)
bdb_db_open: DB_CONFIG for suffix dc=local,dc=gov has changed.
Performing database recovery to activate new settings.
bdb(dc=local,dc=gov): unrecognized name-value pair: txn_checkpoint
As this error message indicates, txn_checkpoint is not a valid keyword
for the DB_CONFIG file. Read the BerkeleyDB documentation.
if i remove txn_checkpoint from DB_CONFIG ldap start fine. Im not familiar with txn_checkpoint. Am i missing something in DB_CONFIG?
