According to Chambers 20th Century English Dictionary (standard work in the UK), 1972 reprint, "Epiphany" (large "E") is a valid expression in this case. Amazing. Mortals would tend to get a "visitation", converting them to the true faith. Such as when I started learning Openldap and saw the light.
