OpenLDAP Chief Architect announcement

The OpenLDAP Foundation announces the appointment of Howard Chu of
Symas Corp. as Chief Architect of the OpenLDAP Project, a position
previously held by Kurt Zeilenga of IBM.  Kurt will continue to
serve the OpenLDAP community as Executive Director of the OpenLDAP
Foundation, and as an advisor to the OpenLDAP Core Team.

About Howard Chu

Howard joined the OpenLDAP Core Team in 1999 and has worked steadily
at enhancing the software since then.  Drawing on his years of
experience designing and deploying networking and security solutions,
and supported by his colleagues at Symas, Howard has been instrumental
in making OpenLDAP Software what it is today.
