After chatting with Paul Hoffman and reviewing Unicode & Stringprep specifications again, I have concluded that LDAPprep should require implementation/use of the Bidi checking algorithm as described in Section 6 of StringPrep. I propose to make this change in the next revision of LDAPprep. Comments? Kurt
